When it comes to helping senior-level female professionals get serious about self-care, no one does it better than Aisha Moore. As Chief Wellness Officer and founder of Self-Care by Aisha, she has taught countless women executives how to put themselves first and avoid burnout through life-changing self-care practices. Her journey as a stress management expert and self-care advocate began when she found herself on short-term disability for stress after landing her dream job. Suffering from burnout, she was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and prescribed medication. But instead of letting stress paralyze her and hold her success hostage, she decided to develop a daily self-care regimen that restored her health and peace of mind in just 90 days (no more medication required). That one decision sparked her whirlwind of success. One year after reclaiming her mental wellness, Aisha landed a promotion to a new role – even after being demoted upon returning to work after her short-term disability leave. And now, she’s on an ongoing mission to tell her story and share practical self-care advice with other women on the brink of drowning in stress and overwhelm. Today, Aisha is a dynamic speaker, trainer, and coach who uses her “been-there-done-that” expertise to pour into ambitious women leaders at high-profile nonprofits and healthcare organizations to take control of their vision, time, career, and relationships. Since launching her business 8 years ago, Aisha has channeled her “been-there-done-that” expertise into developing an action-inducing curriculum that takes women from overwhelm to overflow in 31 days. She has also curated a virtual training experience for those who want to submerge themselves into a life-changing self-care routine. Her practical approach to stress management and self-care has opened doors for her to work with well-known institutions and brands such as Schneider Electric, the Future Foundation, VCU Health, and Public Allies. Aisha has been invited to speak at summits, conferences, and other events across the country. She has been featured on podcasts, radio shows, and global and national news outlets, including the popular, “The Happy Healthy Nonprofit: Strategies for Impact Without Burnout,” by Beth Kanter and Aliza Sherman. While Aisha has leaned into her experience, degrees in health behavior/health education and American studies, and health coaching certification to make significant strides as a stress management expert and self-care advocate, she knows her journey is only just beginning. Visit www.selfcarebyaisha.com to book Aisha to speak and find out how she can use her personal and professional experiences, academic background, and wit to take your audience on a harrowing ride that transitions them from overwhelm to overflow.
