Tiffany Rose Goodyear started her journey to become The Sentologist in Washington, DC. After achieving a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science, she moved to the nation’s capital to work with a non-profit organization, then moved on to become lobbyist. Tiffany was ready for a change of pace, and took some time to pursue her interest in marketing by joining a boutique advertising agency. These various experiences inspired her to learn more about how strategic communication can motivate people to act; whether that’s by voting, purchasing or making other decisions. Her drive for knowledge led her to pursue her Masters of Science degree in Advertising Management at the University of Denver, in her home state of Colorado. During school she founded a dessert catering company. Using her own company as a case study for all that she was learning in the classroom, Tiffany was able to transform a lifelong passion for baking and pastry arts from being just a hobby, into a successful business concept. Upon graduation, she decided to stay in Denver and focus on her new business. Over the next few years, the company evolved into a full-service dessert catering company specializing in events and corporate gifts. She found herself not only interested in her clients’ culinary needs, but also into the underlying messages communicated through such gifts and events. She began asking her clients why they were purchasing a corporate gift or hosting an event and who was the target audience they were reaching? What message were they trying to convey? What as the overall goal of purchasing these specific items for this particular event? She would then incorporate all of these details into their personalized food choices, and consider the subliminal message when organizing menus, presentations, and the overall theme of the culinary display.Tiffany was time and time again able to successfully (and effectively) capture their desired message, highlight their personal brand, and tell the customer’s individuals story through a full sensory event. Moving beyond just desserts, Tiffany Goodyear now specializes in finding unique solutions for clients looking to rise above the clutter of audio and visual branding by adding an additional effect of touch, taste, smell, or a combination of the three senses, to a marketing communications program. The approach has gained popularity with her corporate and non-profit clients from the dessert industry. She now works with businesses and agencies to incorporate an overall sensory experience into their communications strategy.

As Beverley says, "I'm not a big fan of "thought-provoking", "motivational" or "fluffy" presentations. I like when someone teaches me something I can go home and try. Wayne Gregori is an entrepreneur and innovator best known for creating SF Net, the world's first social network, launched in San Francisco in July 1991—years before the World Wide Web existed and long before Friendster, MySpace, or Facebook. SF Net consisted of coin-operated public terminals installed in Bay Area coffeehouses, giving everyday people affordable access to real-time chat, email, forums, and community building for just a few quarters. It pioneered the internet café concept, blended online interactions with in-person "NetGets" gatherings, and fostered a diverse, inclusive virtual community that bridged physical and digital worlds. Wikipedia and tech historians recognize it as a groundbreaking piece of internet history that democratized early online social connection. Though not a professional writer by trade, Wayne is a natural storyteller who captivates audiences with vivid, engaging narratives—skills he's brought to his memoir/history book, The First Social Network. The book preserves this overlooked chapter of tech and cultural history through personal anecdotes, memorable characters like street magician Captain Nemo, and reflections on how SF Net embodied ideals of open discourse and accessible knowledge. A lifelong innovator, Wayne has since founded other online ventures (including Leadx.com and Openfence.com) and spoken on technology's social impact, from early internet communities to blockchain and Bitcoin. He continues to advocate for preserving and sharing the story of SF Net as a foundational milestone in how humans connect online.
