It is my belief that "life is not a skill to learn" but "the process of sharing your convictions." Whether for personal growth or professional development, The Method provides you with the key to self-awareness. The course is not based on public speaking or leadership techniques. It is much more personal. My approach models the pattern of growth I experienced within myself, and it was developed by sharing my own process. Whether your goal is to change an industry, lead a team, or simply live a fulfilled and successful life, you must first identify the convictions that drive you and make them known. Only by bringing the secret truth of your convictions out in to the public forum will you ever have a chance of making a meaningful impact. Those who have been considered game changers and thought leaders realized this truth, and they courageously took the risk. So before you speak to your own team or group of clients, question whether you have conviction in your message. Does it define you, and are you willing to stand alone to defend it? This is the symmetry in The Method: While you learn that conviction is your greatest source of strength and courage as a speaker and leader, the process forces you to question the authenticity of your own message - and that is the greater value.

Jamie Bricker is an international speaker and writer on both general organizational leadership and specific educational leadership. The key commonality throughout all of his experiences has been consistently utilizing affective leadership. The impact of affective leadership transcends the parameters of any specific employment situation. Particularly in these unprecedented pandemic times, it’s imperative for all leaders to reach out and make a genuine effort to be far more affective. People are struggling and stressing, and affective leaders help them feel valued, respected, and supported. Affective leadership triggers inspired long-term commitment from staff, rather than simply imposed short-term compliance. Jamie has established a weekly series: Affective Leadership – Positivity Promotes Productivity. Each week one key aspect of affective leadership is explored in a podcast discussion, blog, and video. He is also a monthly contributor of the Learning Counsel about the potential impact of affective leadership in our school system. 20-year veteran recruiter, experienced in sourcing, recruiting and consultative selling. Innovative, inquisitive and adventurous, my diverse experiences as an entrepreneur, journalist/designer, team and community builder, improviser, Toastmaster, global citizen and more uniquely influence how I consult and coach around selling and hiring. While I remain the most seasoned creative recruiter in Atlanta with a design degree, I long ago evolved much beyond your ordinary recruiter. I coordinate, attend and speak at a variety of events and conferences to keep my contacts fresh, my skills sharp and my pulse on an ever changing broader market. Most of my recruiting and sales consulting has been focused on design, UX, mobile, technology, product management, marketing/pr and other related communities. I only recruit on retainer unless training/consulting internal teams on the specifics of creative recruiting or (occasionally) sourcing as a part-time/temporary member of a recruiting team. Because recruiting is essentially a sales process and most of my prior roles have had some sort of business development requirement, I often use by my sourcing and search skills in my coaching and consulting practice to help others prospect for jobs, clients/projects and other opportunities.

Jordan understands the challenges that today’s young people face: depression, anxiety, social media identity, job loss, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on social and professional development, and imposter syndrome, to name a few. He doesn’t project a “been there, done that” attitude – his relatability, empathy and positivity instills hope in his audiences. Not only is JD a state champion speaker and national finalist, but his work and graduate studies at Georgetown University have equipped him with expert-level learning design skills that consider how humans learn best. He’s passionate about his craft, combining skillful speech delivery with engaged teaching principles. Jordan’s messages aren’t lectures; they’re learning experiences. Each of JD’s workshops are audience-centered, allowing for questions, peer learning, and post-workshop reflection. When Jordan speaks, audiences listen and later apply what they’ve learned! Jordan’s words have given students the confidence to network, ask about prestigious internships opportunities, and excel in big-time job interviews. His words have prepared scholars to present their research at conferences. His words have helped working professionals set goals for themselves and their teams that they couldn’t see before working with Jordan. The DMV is where JD calls home, and his community-based work is some of his most transformative work. Whether he’s giving a free public speaking workshop for incarcerated individuals pursuing their bachelor’s degree, or recording a personalized video for middle school students who used his strategies to improve their academic performance, JD consistently finds ways to give back. Here’s what one professor had to say about Jordan’s work with his students: “Jordan has done this phenomenal module [with my students] on navigating social hierarchies in public policy: how to give an elevator pitch; how to get into interesting conversations about politics, economics, business; how to make an opener and stand out as an introvert. I can recommend him to every single one of you if you have not had him in your class.”
