My name is Jesse Cody and I’m the founder/director of Hike the Good Hike. For the past year, I have been building HTGH into a brand that emphasizes the benefits of hiking and wilderness exploration to mental health. Late in 2014, after years of struggling with my own mental health, I was contemplating suicide. Through a series of serendipitous occurrences involving Robert Redford and Bill Bryson’s book A Walk in the Woods, I found myself on the Appalachian Trail. It was the walk that saved my life. 5 years and roughly 6000 miles later, I embrace life and am aligned with my purpose. Hiking saved my life, and I am committed to sharing my journey to inspire others through speaking and writing. In this day and age, many people are stressed, alienated, depressed, and mentally taxed. HTGH seeks to offer inspiration about how to cultivate a more positive lifestyle and mind while raising awareness about mental health.

Like you, leadership expert and world traveler, Steve McCullar has seen the word “leadership” defined numerous ways over the years. Is it charisma and positive thinking? Business suits and red power ties? Determination? Is it all about the reaction to situations? Are leaders born or fashioned? What is the difference between leadership and management? With over two decades of coaching, teaching, speaking, and most importantly, real-life, in-the-trenches business and global experience, his view is radically different. Steve appreciates, and shares with listeners, that leadership is a moment-to-moment choice and not about title, tenure or position. Leadership is for everyone, every day. It's how we conduct our lives. My professional experiences and topics range from traditional business/leadership discussions to motivational group activities to make your team work better. Retail, medical, educational... we'll put our heads together and make sure we're meeting your goals. That sounds like buzzwords. Ugh! I hate buzzwords. A speaker brings you a canned presentation, and that is not what I offer. I work with you ahead of time to bring you an experience tailored to your needs. If you are looking to enhance your next business meeting, motivate your group in a difficult situation, or facilitate a training to develop your employees, I am here to help you provide the best experience. I don't sell anything... I love what I do and have many repeat partners (I refuse to call them clients!) that I love to see achieve their goals.

Sanjeev delivers interactive, thought provoking and inspiring programs to corporations, associations, education institutions, and non-profits for 15 years. It was his deep curiosity to know about truth since childhood in order to understand who we really are, what is the true purpose of our life, why we are here, and how can we align with the frequency of the Universe? It did not manifest as long as he was in India but as soon as he moved to Canada a long time ago and met with one beautiful soul, everything has manifested when he used to connect with ocean, nature, water, fresh air and realized that only nature can help us in transformation because it can deprogram and decondition our mind. Over the period of last 3 decades, Sanjeev Kumar has traveled extensively and worked with many people around the globe. In his journey, he met with many amazing people, learned many life-enhancing lessons and has endless awakening moments. People have found their life’s true purpose, inspiration, and joy in the words of Sanjeev Kumar. He published his extensive research in his Best-selling book, “Practicing The Power of Present Moment”. This book teaches lessons on living an aware, mindful life filled with joy. In his journey, he faced many challenges and obstacles in the form of nervous breakdown and depression, but later on he realized that everything happens for the good reason because light comes from darkness and the more you can experience duality, totality, completeness & togetherness the better you can evolve. Sanjeev teaches about how we have to pay attention, slow down, and watch our thoughts in order to create a space or word between two thoughts, words, or actions with the help of a breathing meditation technique that can help us to transcend stress, anger, anxiety etc. He helps his clients to settle down their useless thoughts and live in a relaxed mood to discover their hidden potential. Whatever thoughts emotions are arising within us, we have to witness them. Stress, anger etc. happen when we react. Therefore, we have to be responsive rather than reactive.

Founder
Having become a mother at age 14, domestic violence survivor at 15 and having overcome many life tragedies, only one explanation gives it purpose... and that is to give back and pay it forward. As a born again Christian and as Founder of “Palabras de Guerrera” a non Profit organization dedicated to inspire other women and challenge any person whom we can impact, to follow their dreams and make a difference. A fact is that since I jumped so many stages I finished school with a GED... but also a fact I did not let that determine my success and aspirations. The same girl who got pregnant at 13, became the woman to lead a business category in a mass market company that produced $32M a year in sales. The same girl that tried to commit suicide at 16, was the woman who functioned as Sales Director for Puerto Rico’s top Christian Related Material and is the same woman, who today by God’s grace has resigned to her day job and fancy title to dedicate her full concentration and time to travel, talk and inspire every woman who crosses her path.
