My name is David Haze and I am a 4 times world record holder and Stand Up Paddlebaord (SUP) adventurer, attempting world first and world records. I most recently decided to live by my own personal motto, which is "through adventure we live". For me life is one giant adventure and it should be embraced as just that. However, I have not always seen it this way and it took me to be serving my second prison sentence to realise how lost and broken I had become. I am using adventure as a tool to learn more about myself, to change & grow in a positive way. I also want to use my adventures as a platform to highlight the importance of rehabilitation and prove that our past and mistakes do not define who we are and with the right commitment and attitude we can achieve anything in life. I also hope that I can change perspectives on people like myself so we can create positive and safer communities for all of us to live in. But most of all, I hope my story and adventures can motive others to take that step out of their comfort zone and learn more about who they truly are and what they are capable of to live a much more meaningful life.

Kirsten (Kirt) Davis is a native of Athens, Georgia. Adopted at a young age, Kirt dealt with anger and abandonment issues which ultimately led to his expulsion from high school. After a brief stint in Job Corps, Kirt joined the United States Navy. During Kirt's first deployment, the tragic events of 9/11 changed the course of his military career. Kirt struggled with depression during his 8 year military career leading him to attempt suicide three times. After leaving the Navy, Kirt was diagnosed with PTSD. Not allowing this to stop him, Kirt sought many different forms of therapy before deciding that the best way he could help himself was helping those that were just like him. Kirt served as the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program Manager, Suicide Prevention Program Manager, and Employee Assistance Program Manager for the Army before working for the Air force. While serving in these positions, Kirt has also had to deal with a plethora of medical issues including cancer and 6, yes, you read it right, 6 heart attacks. Kirt's life, military, and civilian experiences offer a unique perspective that has helped, and continues to help so many overcome issues normally difficult to navigate. Shari Thompson was a senior internal auditor for Enron and its subsidiaries for over twenty years, from the 80’s and through the company’s bankruptcy in 2001. After Enron’s bankruptcy, she was an integral part of an internal audit team that developed and carried out the Sarbanes Oxley compliance program for Enron subsidiary Northern Plains Natural Gas Company. After leaving Northern Plains in 2005, Shari built a SOx-compliant internal audit department from the ground up at another local company. She was also chief audit officer at UNO until the state budget crisis eliminated her position in 2017.
