One thing most politicians do well is speak. I honed my public speaking skills across many different stages across the globe and of course in the challenging environment of the House of Commons chamber for five years. Occasionally, when not just voting through the governments program I was able to introduce new laws myself on some very gritty issues, not least knife crime. I relished holding ministers to account on both the Justice and Administrative Affaires Select Committees and serve between 2012 -2015 as the the Co-Secretary of the 1992 Back Bench Committee for Conservative MP's, or if you like the trade union for Conservative MPs. What goes on in Parliament makes for a fascinating story which is why I have written confessions of a Recovering MP published Jan 8 2018. Get a taster here http://www.nickdeboisbooks.com/snippets-from-the-book.html or order https://www.bitebackpublishing.com/books/confessions-of-a-recovering-mp When in Parliament I found a new passion, radio broadcasting and on occasions stood in for David Mellor to broadcast with Ken Livingston, and am pleased to say I still continue to make regular appearances on talkRADIO. Confessions of a Recovering MP was written in the wake of the disastrous 2017 election campaign for the Conservatives. It takes the reader on a journey of a prominent backbencher, occasional rebel and persistent campaigner who comes across the bizarre, the hugely important and, thankfully, loads of utter nonsense. Nick is available for speaking on political issues of the day, and for after dinner engagements.

Christian Höferle (alt. spelling: Hoeferle) is a cultural business consultant with extensive experience in working with multinational companies. German by birth, American by choice, and Bavarian at heart, Christian is a fan of building bridges and not enthusiastic about walls. With his team at The Culture Mastery he helps people close the gap between cultures so they can work together more efficiently. He is also known as The Culture Guy and hosts a podcast of the same title. Christian's mission is to lead people to a better understanding of cultures, so they can work at their peak and in peace with each other. His goal is to create peace by helping people from different cultures understand each other better. When companies work internationally and expand outside of their home markets, their employees need to be effective in collaborating with people from cultures which are foreign to them. They need to be able to sell and market to customers with unfamiliar consumption preferences. Beyond the language barriers global professionals are confronted with different behaviors and ways of doing business. Failing to communicate, manage, inspire, and lead across cultural differences is a huge risk for these companies, and the lack of cultural competence becomes a bottom-line relevant issue. Christian has been working on various levels of cultural consulting, mentoring, coaching, and training. He has been working with global companies including Wacker Chemie, Johnson & Johnson, Recaro Aircraft Seating, ZF, Plastic Omnium, Evonik, Pepperl + Fuchs, Pöppelmann, Alcoa, Siemens, Volkswagen, and Bridgestone. Prior to moving to the U.S., Christian worked for international companies like Entertainment Media, Bertelsmann and Viacom where he served in several leadership positions.

My experience ranges from non-profit program management to leadership positions in corporate communications, organizational development, and recruiting for marketing, sales and technical seller-doers. In all of these roles, especially in my current role as CEO of Atomic Revenue, superior communication and project management skills have been the underlying foundation for professional success. In 2009, I launched TJKworks to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals using these same principles. As a consultant and coach, I help clients achieve their next milestone by providing: - executive bandwidth and corporate communications leadership, - executive thought leadership positioning, - fully staffed Marketing Operations teams as a subscription service. In 2014, I acquired majority interest in a sales operations firm as the missing link in her clients' revenue generating success. As CEO, I led Atomic Revenue through a rebranding and innovation process to define the business discipline of Revenue Operations. The TJKworks model of marketing operations has become fully integrated with Sales Operations expertise of Algorythmics which allows for the third and final pilar of revenue operations, Customer Success. By uniting three emerging operational disciplines, Atomic Revenue addresses the people, process, and data requirements of revenue generation. Today, Atomic Revenue continues to define the discipline of Revenue Operations with programs, services, and expertise dedicated to the profitable growth of privately held small to mid-size businesses. As Executive Partners and Revenue Operations Practitioners, the Atomic Revenue team fill gaps and expands bandwidth to meet the unique growth challenges of the SMB market. Being discipline specific and industry agnostic allows me to employ my passion for the cross-industry-pollination of business best practices. Healthcare like software and professional services like manufacturing--under the hood, its the same business engine.
