Adrienne White has taught and presented to thousands of people from around the world on topics that range from leadership, to communication, to public speaking – most always with the brain in mind. She is a trusted advisor and coach who brings a genuine passion for advancing the potential and well being of women. Her corporate work includes over 20 years experience in the private and non‐profit sectors helping large and small organizations navigate successful major change, improve communications, and bring out the best in people -- while improving performance and well-being. The ridiculous amount of personal and professional change in her life has prepared her well to work with people and organizations to make change successful and easy (or as easy as change can be). With health concerns that nearly ended her, Adrienne knows what it means to overcome challenges and deal with very personal change. She has lived through and recovered from brain injury. Perhaps that is why her fascination with the brain runs so deep. Adrienne is driven to help people dig deep to uncover their inner brilliance. She focuses her work with smart, professional women who are silently struggling with transitions, burnout, or that feeling of ‘is this all there is’. She helps them to quickly generate more energy, get better results, and get clear on how to create a life worthy of living.

Please visit angeliquelamour.com to learn more about me, read testimonials and view speaker videos. As the daughter of author Louis L’Amour, I grew up in the household of a prolific writer where storytelling was a way of life. I began writing for personal enjoyment as a child and went to college to pursue a history degree. I also studied at the University of Southern California in the School of Journalism and while there wrote and published a volume of quotes from my father’s works. Published by Bantam Doubleday Dell in 1988, A Trail of Memories spent 16 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and was also a Publisher’s Weekly bestseller. After a detour through the film industry, I returned to my roots to write novels for the Young Adult market, spending time under the tutelage of Craig Virden, then head of Random House Books for Young Readers, perfecting my craft. As a cancer survivor, I now dedicate substantial time to advocacy and awareness efforts and recently published Chemo, Cupcakes and Carpools: How to Go through Chemo with Your Family, Your Marriage and Your Sanity Intact, and the companion organizer. After creating and teaching a Creative Writing program for students from 8-80, I recognized that I have a passion and a unique ability to help others bring their stories to life. I now have the fun and privilege of nurturing writers as an Author Coach, while I continue to pen my own stories. I love speaking for live events and teaching writing workshops balancing creativity with positivity.

As an author and entrepreneur, founder of Hooray Cafe, consultant to Fortune 500 clients, and international river guide, I have traveled, worked, and played in 50 countries. My books and presentations are based on eye-opening experiences in places such as isolated Siberian river villages never before visited by Westerners, Botswanan delta waters plied by angry hippos, and a stunned Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square uprising. I write and speak to help foster supportive and flourishing cultures. My stories offer insights into everyday heroes who take small and big steps in order to bring about meaningful individual and community change. I share ideas for our greater good, concepts that come from interactions with wise elders and young visionaries around the world. My upcoming book, "Be the Good: Becoming a Force for a Better World," offers action steps for each one of us to take in order to build better places. In remote Norwegian farming communities, subsistence villages along the Bering Sea, high altitude and high energy La Paz, and my homespun hometown, I have engaged with and learned from hundreds of people who are making a real difference in the world. I am honored by these heart-driven folks who know that their community’s growth is paramount to their own successes. These illuminating experiences have allowed me to: Have authored “The Gift of Courage,” that Meryl Streep calls “One of the good news stories that resonate within every life…that anyone can take to heart." This book tells stories of everyday heroes who each have positively changed the lives of thousands of people. Have written "Be the Good," that reviewers call "a must read," "an inspiring guide to individual and collective well-being," and "a powerful book about how we each can be a greater force for good on the planet." "Be the Good" shares insights from cultures and community leaders around the world who are dedicated to building better places. Draw on 30 years of experience as an international adventure travel guide and outfitter, leading wilderness expeditions on five continents. These adventures immersed me in both flourishing and hurting communities across the globe. They allow me to understand and share how cultures can easily evolve, to the betterment of individual members and to create a greater good world. Given a TED Talk, be a keynote speaker at a variety of events, including The River Network's 2018 River Rally, Central Oregon's Impact Summit, and more. Here are sample reviews: “This event created a real feeling of community building and inclusiveness. I found this valuable as did my 13 and 16 year old kids. It was important for them to have such an experience. Thank you!”-Live Event Attendee “I was extremely happy with the discussion, engagement and the message you delivered today! You painted a very clear picture on how we can change our perspectives."–Corporate Workshop Client
