Kendra is a strategically transparent and audacious empowerment speaker, author, mentor, and missionary. She is the founder of International Kendra, a mission committed to fearlessly crossing ethnic, religious, cultural, and societal barriers to break chains of oppression and brokenness through conferences, social media, and mentoring. She is the visionary behind The Safe Haven®, an upcoming innovative global initiative to establish transitional shelters for women/girls who are victims of heinous violence due to the imbalances and prejudices in culture and society. In addition, she is the author of “The Walk: From Hearing to Knowing”, a compelling and riveting book about her personal triumphant journey through some of life most difficult, controversial, and taboo challenges. She has been a guest speaker at many events, also made special appearances in the media, including the North Dallas Gazette, the PraisElujah Radio Show, Phenomenal Woman TV, and the We Are Survivors Radio Show. She serves as the Vice President of Chapter Services for the Management Council and the VP of Communications for the North Dallas chapter of Women of Visionary Influence (WOVI), and is a leader-in-training for WomanSpeak, a national organization that teaches women how to speak boldly and publicly, and no longer suffer oppressively in silence... Michael Dubé was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. He has worked for 30+ years in various industries in the private and public sectors. From 1978 to 1990, Michael worked as a Second Nuclear Operator with Ontario Hydro (now Hydro One). From 1991 to 2008, Michael worked full time as a municipal structural firefighter with the City of Greater Sudbury, performed duties as an Infection Prevention Officer, Acting Captain, Incident Commander and Training Officer. He moved to the Office of The Ontario Fire Marshal in 2008 as a Program Specialist. Here he was a team member with the Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit (EPRU), providing assistance to municipalities and provincial teams (including OPP UCRT) for emergency response to various fires, disasters and Hazardous Materials responses. Michael has performed various Business Continuity Management revisions and Continuity of Operations functions for the OFM, advice and assistance on the provincial Critical Infrastructure Assurance Program, Radio Interoperability, and CBRNE program as part of the programs administered by the Ministry of Community Safety. He is a Certified Organizational Resilience Specialist with the International Consortium on Organizational Resilience. After a busy study period in International Law, Marketing and Business my first work experiences at General Electric and JWT showed me I have a strong interest in technology and retail.
