About
I don’t speak in theory — I speak from lived, high-risk experience. I spent years operating undercover inside organized crime, where decisions weren’t academic and mistakes had real consequences. That background gives me a rare ability to translate extreme-pressure environments into clear, practical lessons for leadership, ethics, risk management, and compliance. Audiences choose me because I connect the dots between: - how criminal networks actually function, - how ethical failures really happen inside institutions, - and how the same decision-making pressures show up in business, finance, and leadership roles. My talks are direct, grounded, and honest — focused on what goes wrong, why it goes wrong, and how to recognize warning signs before failure, misconduct, or reputational damage occurs. People don’t leave inspired for a day. They leave sharper.
Undercover Policing, Ethics, and the Cost of Silence
Undercover Policing, Ethics, and the Cost of Silence is a high-level professional lecture examining the most powerful — and most ethically dangerous — investigative tool in modern law enforcement. Drawing on nearly three decades of operational experience across UK and Canadian policing, including long-term undercover work against organized crime, this presentation moves beyond war stories to confront the real costs of covert policing: moral injury, institutional risk, compromised accountability, and the quiet pressure to remain silent when lines are crossed. The lecture is grounded in comparative legal frameworks (UK, Canada, and the United States), key case law governing undercover operations, and real-world examples that illustrate how lawful tactics can still produce ethical failure — not just for individual officers, but for institutions tasked with oversight. Particular focus is placed on: The distinction between opportunity and inducement Exploitation of vulnerability and ethical drift Institutional risk transfer and hindsight judgment Moral injury, identity erosion, and reintegration failures Why silence is often rewarded — and accountability deferred This session is designed for forensic investigators, compliance professionals, academics, and senior practitioners who operate at the intersection of law, ethics, and risk. It is analytical, candid, and deliberately non-sanitized. This is not training. It is an examination of consequences.
