When Help Harms the Helper
Discussing experiences as a Female Healthcare Provider who experienced psychiatric harm by peer professionals. Overmedication, suicidal hospitalization and spiritual awakening led to understanding the need for alternative treatment methods, 'saving ourselves' and utilizing my misdiagnosis as evidence of women who are underdiagnosed and Neurodivergent. I am now an entrepreneur with 2 businesses, 2 books, a podcast, multiple courses and webinars dedicated to building Internal Empowerment and divesting from outdated models of care.
