How to get quoted in the news
Getting quoted in the news is crucial to building your reputation as a thought leader and expert in your niche. I will explain: 1. How to give reporters the soundbites they're looking for. 2. The easiest way to connect with reporters desperate for your expertise. 3. How to build relationships with reporter so that you become their go-to person when they need insights.
How to get media coverage in the age of page-view journalism
These days bloggers and reporters are getting very little pay yet are expected to produce more as quickly as possible. Their performance and pay are often based on pageviews, likes, number of followers and other vanity metrics. PR agents, marketers and thought leaders have to provide everything a reporter needs to produce a story on a silver platter. You must think like a journalist and do as much work for them as possible as possible e.g. provide talking points, sources, reports, etc.
Your perspective matters!
