About
I help clients acquire *practical skills*, as opposed to focusing only on theory.
The Stress First Aid Routine
A one-hour offering in which we discuss the problem of chronic stress in our society, and also examine some evidence from neuroscience/psychology research pointing to powerful relief from stress by using "tapping". Tapping accupressure points shuts down the stress response almost immediately, and clients will experience it in real time by following instructions. The mind and body calm, creating space for improved overall function. This is the first of *three* levels of benefit; the third one is astounding. [I recommend that team leaders experience this first; you'll "get it!".] Listeners will also be invited to a free "tapping circle" via Zoom in which they'll learn more about these life-changing techniques.
Stress Management 101
Similar to "The Stress First Aid Routine", but with more focus on science. Clients learn how the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous Systems work in opposition to keep us "balanced"; they also learn how each affects human physiology. Most importantly, they learn how *staying* in the aroused SNS state has very negative health outcomes. Focus then pivots to "tapping", a somatic method to reduce felt stress almost immediately; clients experience this in real time. They have an opportunity to join a free "tapping circle" (via Zoom) in which they'll learn more of its benefits, one of which is quite astonishing in effect. I recommend that team leaders experience this prior to podcast/presentation. You'll be as surprised as I've been; it's powerful.
