Airflow Crop Steering
AIRFLOW CROP STEERING IN CANNABIS CULTIVATION FACILITIES Crop steering can be a buzz word and it can be a science-backed decision-making process that utilizes granular data and mechanical tools to refine SOPs that deliver consistent results and optimal phenotypic expression. At its most basic level crop steering is managing the cardinal parameters of plant influence by applying controlled stress (per cultivar) that trigger anticipated results. These results impact operational efficiency and business success. It’s important to consider how a facility will implement crop steering during the facility design and retrofit stages in order to get the most from every investment…and every plant. Airflow crop steering focuses on how to use airflow as a tool to influence plant growth. It requires accurate measurement, consistent application and mechanical solutions capable of providing the opportunity. In this presentation we will discuss the science of applied airflow and its benefit
