About
Organizations choose me because I turn Emotional Intelligence into a competitive advantage.
Emotional Intelligence as the Key to Culture and Performance Transformation
In today’s workplace, culture is the currency—and performance follows culture. The fastest-growing organizations know that technical skills alone don’t drive success. What truly separates thriving teams from struggling ones is Emotional Intelligence (EI). Darrick Lamar has lived this truth. As a 25-year Army Master Sergeant, he led soldiers through high-pressure missions where trust, communication, and cohesion meant the difference between failure and success. Today, as a Behavioral Strategist and speaker, he helps companies harness those same principles to transform leadership, employee engagement, and organizational results. Through his SHIFT Advantage framework—Self-Awareness, Habits, Intentionality, Focus, and Transformation—Darrick delivers more than inspiration. He equips leaders, employees, and new hires with practical, repeatable strategies .
