Born and raised in L.A. County, Eric Strong is a father, husband, and former U.S. Marine with 32 years of experience across four agencies. Eric has led in every corner of law enforcement — from patrol and custody to Internal Affairs, SWAT, community engagement, and juvenile justice — while pushing reforms that put accountability and human life first. Having lived through negative encounters with police and seen family struggle with addiction and mental health, Eric brings a perspective too often missing from law enforcement leadership. He has fought deputy gangs, revamped policies, trained officers in de-escalation, and worked to build trust between communities and those sworn to protect them. The Sheriff’s Department has long been a source of fear and corruption — but Eric believes it can be transformed into an engine of safety and justice. As Sheriff, he will dismantle deputy gangs, root out misconduct, and build a new department where every Angeleno — no matter their zip code — can feel safe, respected, and protected.

In 2018, we started a coaching business, just one client at a time, solving real problems for small business owners who were overwhelmed, losing money, or simply couldn’t get their teams to execute. In an industry full of people preying on coaches with empty promises, we do the opposite we offer tools, community, and actual results. I’m also the author of SCORE, a framework that challenges everything we’ve been taught about scaling a business and accountability. We’ve misunderstood it for decades. Accountability isn’t just a leadership skill. It’s the catalyst of epic performance and, when misused, the addiction behind toxic cultures and bad behavior. I also contribute to Forbes and serve as Head of the Forbes AI Council, where I lead deep, honest conversations with top experts about what AI is really doing to business, leadership, and work. These aren’t surface-level talks. They’re the conversations that matter, grounded in the real-world impact AI is already having.
