LATEST UPDATE I'm happy to announce I will be touring with the multi-media theater presentation collective Pop-Up Magazine for eight dates at the end of October 2022. The tour will cover eight cities starting in Oakland, California, and ending in Nashville, Tennesse on November seventeenth. Public speaking is in my blood, you might say. My first encounter with presenting was in 1971 thanks to The Atlanta Braille Project in front of then First Lady Pat Nixon. My presentation was about 7 minutes with me being an early advocate for accessibility for all who were Braille readers. Fast forward to today. I advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles. An employer can hire a diverse workforce, but do they genuinely feel included in the company culture? Belonging is a new concept that closely correlates with the other three elements, we always feel a part of something when we have a sense of belonging. I teach that important lesson to corporate gatherings and thought leaders within corporations and governments. If you are looking for a speaker who has encountered these corporate cultural barriers and broke through them then I am your gal. I tell my personal story but also include statistical-based analysis and describe scenarios that allow every group of employees to be empowered to learn, grow and embrace the new concepts of diversity, equity inclusion, and belonging thus removing the former barriers and opening a path for constant team collaboration.

Canada’s first and still only criminal conviction for insider trading ended in tragedy before becoming the subject of the educational-documentary film "Collared" (https://collareddocumentary.com/). Spanning a fifteen year period in the United States and Canada, Joseph Grmovsek and his co-accused illegally purchased and sold stock with inside information in over a hundred separate deals, churning tens of million of dollars for an eventual eight-figure US dollar gain in what is believed to be the most prolonged insider trading case ever uncovered by American and Canadian securities investigators. After being identified, Joseph cooperated with authorities to absolve many innocent professionals inadvertently swept up in his criminal endeavor, admitted guilt and began his 39-month prison sentence that included stays in two notorious maximum security prisons. His partner-in-crime and best friend, however, never made it to sentencing, tragically jumping off a bridge to his death a day before he was scheduled to fly with Joseph to New York to learn his fate. Joseph's dramatic story forms the basis of the documentary film "Collared" and since his release from prison his talks, in person or by Skype, offer an unparalleled look into the world of white-collar crime, the consequences for those participating in it and affected by it, as well as corporate and professional ethics and information protection. His insights are important for those interested in insider trading identification and its prosecution and defense, the protection of corporate secrets, the consequences and reputation damage related to breach, compliance, and "scared straight" ethics training. His audiences primarily includes investment funds and portfolio managers, law schools and law firms, regulatory and professional bodies, and corporations and their staff. I have a shocking training confession: I’m a bad student. I know what it’s like to stare at a screen and be frustrated by poorly implemented learning programs. By engaging people with the right content, in the right place at the right time, I can get people excited about learning in our distracted world. I’ve always liked sharing knowledge. As a kid, I was the person who read the museum plaque so I could tell my family what I learned. Today, I do the same thing on a larger scale through instructional design and multimedia learning technologies. In short, I unpack topics into easy to understand learning. At Mindset Digital I develop videos and online courses to educate learners on social media and online best practices. When planning each video, course and training session, I like to think about the big picture. This involves: ● unpacking objectives to ensure each training program engages and educates the learner, aligns with organizational goals and provides an appropriate solution. ● designing high-impact visuals to capture the audience's attention ● staying on top of current advances and changes in learning technology to deliver results with optimum effectiveness and efficiency I like to joke that I’m extremely motivated by my own laziness. There’s a kernel of truth to it, though: I love finding new shortcuts so people can work smarter and no harder than a task requires. It’s refreshing when I can take what I’ve learned and help somebody do their job better. And every success story just inspires me to keep pushing further in the quest for more learning and better results. Specialties include: public speaking & workshop facilitation | instructional design | training | learning technology | E-learning | project management | PowerPoint | digital transformation | L&D strategy | community management

Dawn R. Rosemond wears a lot of hats and they all seem to fit her well. She is a lawyer (for over 22 years now), indeed, a partner in an AmLaw100 firm, a chief diversity officer and inclusive engagement strategist, author, mentor and philanthropist, and her work is noted. Just by way of example, Dawn is an Indiana Torchbearer Award® recipient, a ACBA Niemann Citation honoree for Excellence and Professionalism in the legal profession, and one of the most influential African-Americans in Northeast Indiana as noted by Ink Magazine®. If you talk to Dawn though, she would not mention any of these things. Indeed, when asked to describe what she does or who she is, three words flow: "I build people." Enter Dawn's REIGN platform. Fashioned formally in 2015 (but birthed roughly five or so years prior), Dawn has created a leadership, professional, and personal development platform called "REIGN" to lead people to the realization that they were created to REIGN in this life (i.e., to build people). Through, among other things, dynamic talks she calls a REIGNclass®, roundtable-esque "big talk" vibe sessions she calls a REIGNtableTM, and most recently, through her published book Boss Presence, Dawn endeavors to fulfill this call on her life. Dawn says she intends to live a life "poured out" ---to REIGN as she was created to do, and to use whatever she's got to "inspire the world to do the same."
