Bart Van Loon is a computer science engineer turned entrepreneur. In 2006 he got involved in his first business refurbishing 1960 Italian Vespa Scooters in Pakistan. Eventually Villa Vespa shipped containers to the US, Germany, Spain and Belgium. The aim is to engage going in the outdoors and help to protect the environment while providing a connection platform for all stakeholders of the expedition business. In parallel he gives motivational speeches and speaking coach. He has been speaking twice for TEDx. He applies the lessons learnt in his corporate jobs to his expeditions and uses his team management experience during expeditions back into his job.
