I have achieved great success but what makes me unique is what I had to overcome to become successful. Graduate Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University and then Columbia University School of Public Health with high honors and became a CFO 10 years after cleaning bathrooms. Progressed in my career to being the top administrator at the age of 38 of a large catholic medical center, a seven year run as a successful corporate officer of a publicly owned company and becoming president and CEO of another medical center where they experienced the largest growth in their history. Started DCM Associates in 2007 and today we are a top national firm providing nonprofit leadership executive search and board and leadership performance coaching. My autobiography “Moppin Floors to CEO: From Hopelessness and Failure to Happiness and Success” shows us all that even a troubled kid from New Jersey can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, make it to the top and live a happy and fulfilling life.
