I was born in Lubbock TX, moved to the Dallas area when I was little, and when I was four years old my family moved to Benton AR. That's where I've lived ever since. I graduated from Benton High School in 2011 and then went to the University of Central Arkansas where I received my Bachelors Degree in Communication with a minor in Political Science in the year of 2015. In my last semester of college I discovered my calling to ministry. Later that summer I was hired as the youth pastor at Lifepoint Community Church in Malvern, AR. In May of 2018 I married the most wonderful girl in the world. She and I both love to create relationships with young people and do everything we can to build community with Christ and amongst each other. In August of 2018 I was assigned the job of teaching the children from preschool to 5th grade on Sunday mornings. So now I have received the title of Student Pastor as I teach students at different times from preschool all the way up to 12th grade. As of May of 2022 I will have my Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from CFNI. I feel that my mission in life is to love God and love people.

I started my career in 2015 as a case manager for a social services agency. Over the course of the next few years, I saw the significant challenges that marginalized groups face throughout our country. These experiences grew my passion for creating supportive, compassionate, empathetic spaces wherever I go. Since then, I've had the opportunity to serve within several other industries; education, hospitality, and now technology. I used to think that my career path was too "winding," - that, from an outsider's perspective, it appeared to lack focus and direction. Now I understand that non-linear paths are more than normal; in fact, they are powerful. They build the flexibility and range we all need to tackle wicked problems and thrive. Plus, now I know how to roll the perfect burrito (thanks Chipotle!). Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to build the people operations function at a startup. One of my favorite parts of this role has been creating an end-to-end recruiting and hiring process that seeks out curious, unconventional people from varied backgrounds. Listening to these candidates’ stories is usually the highlight of my week. I love to encourage others to follow their curiosity, share their stories, and see the value they bring to the world.

Speaker Onesheet Bio Sarah simplifies the “purpose of life” to help individuals in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on the Autism Spectrum better navigate the world around them. Sarah helps individuals better understand and use their intuition, or the guidance of the Light of Christ in their lives. She does this by teaching them how to build better connections with God by embracing positive leadership skills, broaden their thinking about the world around them and increase their ability to empathize within themselves and with others. Sarah loves to simplify complex doctrines, share relatable stories, personalize the scriptures, and explore tools to help each of us navigate being human. Sarah strives to help others increase their faith so they are capable of moving their mountains of fear by teaching a variety of ways to work with their subconscious, conscious, and higher conscious minds. Sarah consistently encourages others to also understand and use their agency to choose to co-create their lives, or their own worlds, with Jesus Christ right now by helping them confidently and comfortably learn to trust and commune with Heaven. What Sarah shared brings an increase of hope, peace, and love into the listeners life. When an individual understands how to increase faith, hope, and charity in every thought, feeling, word, and action entire families and communities are impacted for the better.

And because I love to teach, I have not one problem showing you how to do the same for you. This is the idea behind my work.
