Brad founded S2A in 2014 with a simple mission: Develop 10 Percenters! A concept based on the fact that fewer than 10% of people say they understand their company’s strategy and its connection to their daily work. Through his workshops, seminars and strategy coaching, Brad chips away at the divide from both sides by helping the C-suite set a clear, concise and compelling strategic direction, while helping project managers make sense of the company's strategy in an actionable way. Prior to founding S2A, Brad served as the chief financial officer and vice president of corporate strategy for a defense and aerospace contract manufacturing firm. There he managed the firm’s $100M+ project portfolio and successfully turned around the company’s performance on complex Department of Defense projects. Brad is a graduate of the US Navy’s Nuclear Power Program, and holds a Bachelor of Science in nuclear engineering technology. Over the course of his highly decorated military career, he served as executive officer, department head, program manager for nuclear electrical systems, and technical advisor for carrier electrical power systems. Brad is a frequent keynote speaker and recognized thought leader on strategy design and execution. In 2016, he was recognized by the Cincinnati Business Courier as one of the city’s Forty Under 40. He’s an avid trail runner, red wine enthusiast and aspiring guitarist who calls Cincinnati, Ohio home.
