I'm an author, adventurer and speaker. For over ten years I've also struggled with anxiety and negative identity stories. In 2014, I set sail from England on a 10m yacht and sailed 20,000 miles to Panama and back - I'd never sailed before. Living and learning in the harsh Atlantic environment with only one other person on board completely reframed my perception of what I was capable of. It's all too easy to say, 'oh I couldn't do that' but I never questioned whether that was actually true. Until I was faced with crossing the Atlantic - a month long voyage with no outside communication. Since completing the three year voyage, I've signed two book deals and write extensively about how we can identify what's holding us back and work with these challenges, not against them.
