I’m Dr. Jill. I’m not your “traditional” doctor. As a specialist in Age Management Medicine and Hormonal Optimization, I have made it my life’s work to help women (and men!) RECLAIM their sense of Self, JUICINESS, Edge, and Vitality! Recently named one of LA Magazine’s Top Docs 2018-2022. I help people fully realize, embrace, and CELEBRATE their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and sexual health and vitality! I can honestly say that it wasn't until I found my current speciality of Age Management/Hormone Optimization later in my career that I truly felt like I WOKE UP to my life. I call this my "hormonal awakening", which then led me to my mental, emotional, spiritual, and sexual awakenings. Until this, I felt like I was just going through the motions, and now I truly LOVE what I do, helping others wake up to their lives, and now with the advent of other therapies being available (ketamine specifically) to further expand people's full expression of themselves, free of the constraints of persistent depression, anxiety, and trauma. In my traditional Family Medicine practice I treated a significant amount of depression, anxiety, and mood disorders with the traditional therapies that were available at the time (antidepressants, anxiolytics, mood stabilizers). However, what I found through transitioning into my practice of Age Management Medicine/Hormone Optimization was that the very same symptoms used to diagnose and treat depression/anxiety/mood disorders are the same as hormone imbalance (and with future research, trauma). Many of my patients have been able to come off of their antidepressants/anxiolytics/mood stabilizers through optimizing their hormones, and truly go from surviving to thriving. I find the research around(and my personal experience) with psychedelic medicine) and its effects in helping with depression, anxiety, trauma, and beyond to be profound, so I went on to obtain training in KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy) to be able to help my patients expand into themselves and their lives even further. These three KEY statements are what I strive for with my clients: 1. It’s never too late, and you’re never too old to create a different ending to your story! 2. Forget “Aging gracefully”, because it’s not about “getting through it”, you deserve to age AMAZINGLY and live a truly “Juicy” life, at any age, or any stage! 3. Ditch the “Plan” and let life amaze you! https://www.drjillstocker.com Speaking Topics: Womb Trauma Awakening to the fullest version of you Hormone Health and Wellness (Women and Men)-Myths and Truths Sexual Health and Vitality-The "O" and Beyond
