Ian C. Williams is an author, speaker, and business advisor. He has a Master’s in Public Affairs (MPA) with an emphasis in Leadership Strategy and Organizational Culture from the University of Minnesota. His background in education, mindfulness, and regenerative design informs his business advising. He works primarily with mission driven organizations to help them grow healthy cultures through process optimization, wellbeing integration, and environmental restoration. A decade of spiritual immersion and self-discovery followed, which revealed a fundamental truth: reviving ourselves is the only path to reviving the world. Now, he devotes himself to generating positive change for the common good through his personal and professional endeavors.

Growing up in my small town of Haiti, I went from being one of 7 children with two parents to placing myself in an orphanage after a series of life-changing events. I eventually was adopted by a Caucasian family from Charlotte, North Carolina, where I was then raised in a white household. I spent much of my teenage and early adult years in limbo between being so grateful for the life that was provided to me in the States while also feeling guilty and questioning my identity as a black child in a white home. I eventually came to the realization that professional therapy could help me sort through my emotions, and I quickly became a mental health advocate. Today, I work to inspire others to own their story, take control of their mental health, and believe that they were put in situations for exponential growth and to become greater than they were ever destined to be. I believe that God put me on this earth and in every situation that I have encountered to add to my story and to inspire others to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

I'm an award winning fashion designer who was building her fashion brand, fashion program, and a speaking biz when the rug got snatched from under my feet in the blink of an eye. My husband lost his job, my mom died and I got diagnosed with breast cancer-in that order, all within 6 months of each other. Life was excruciating to say the least. Yet I still had to wake up and push on. Even though some days the idea of getting out of bed was unfathomable. I learned that through the pain, hurt and mental anguish it's possible to find beauty and peace. It's possible to not only persevere but even grow and find grace, all without sacrificing your grief, experience or mental health. I can show your organization how to do the same and persevere through the adversity and become the best version of yourself on the other side.
