The AI Dilemma: LLMs, Educators, and the Future of Learning
The AI Dilemma: LLMs, Educators, and the Future of Learning examines how large language models are reshaping teaching, learning, and academic integrity. Drawing on evidence-based research, real classroom data, and hands-on demonstrations, this session helps educators understand both the promise and the challenges of AI in education. Attendees explore why faculty perceptions of “cheating” vary widely, how students are already integrating AI into their academic routines, and what this means for instructional design, assessment, and policy. Rather than focusing on fear or hype, the session offers a balanced, practical framework for adapting to AI’s rapid evolution. Participants leave with actionable strategies for responsible integration, faculty collaboration, and building institutional readiness for the future of learning.
