How Culture Affects Typography
For the past 14 years, I’ve been researching the intersection of Culture + Typography—how the visual language of a city reflects its identity. My work explores the character revealed through everyday typography: manhole covers, neon, historic signage, wayfinding, street art, and architectural lettering. Each talk I give is customized to the city I’m visiting.
