About
After hearing my Keynote the audience will walk away changed.
My Introduction to Stillness Was a Coma
In this talk I share the story of my snowboarding accident that left me in a coma for 3 weeks not being able to walk, talk or eat on my own. It was my introduction to stillness. The same stillness has carried me through other adversities and brought me to where I am today.
Taking the first step, no matter how small, will allow the next step to become possible
In this keynote I share several stories of overcoming adversity. Most notably, my snowboarding accident. In 2003 I was at ski club with my friends. On our first run the chairlift went right over the terrain park where all of the jumps were. I knew as soon as I saw it that I had to go off the biggest jump in the terrain park. I buckled in to my snowboard and charged towards that jump with all of my speed. Going up to the jump I caught the edge of my snowboard on the jump and that is the last thing that I remember. The doctors told my parents that I probably wouldn't walk, talk or eat on my own ever again. Less than 90 days later I ran out of the hospital. Unknowingly I used a system to accomplish this and I now teach this same system in my keynote. The S.T.E.P. system allows you to move past any trauma, setback or life challenge and into your limitless potential.
