Privilege has no color
Read that title again. To begin to dismantle identity stereotypes we must be willing to: 1. Inquire into the origin of our beliefs 2. Dare to challenge those beliefs 3. Shift the dialogue through word, sound and power. In this presentation audiences will hear and witness the story of a black woman who had defied societal stereotypes, first by following all the rules, challenging them and breaking away from them demonstrating through her use of privilege to be a voice that demands lasting change in the discourse of race and gender at the crossroads of health and wellness. What qualifies her to do this? 1. 22+ years working for the United Nations 2. Choosing to leave at the height of her career to pursue the alternative road of health and wellness as a path to peace 3. A steadily growing career in her chosen path. Have I piqued your interest? Contact me.
