The Key to Organizational Effectiveness: Unlocking Feedback
How a new approach to feedback can help to improve organizational effectiveness. Feedback plays an integral role in many organizational processes essential to their success. The ability to navigate change effectively, to innovate, to engage employees, and so much more, depend on a variety of feedback processes that many organizations fail to capitalize on. Gain insight as to how a new approach to feedback can help send ripple effects of success through your organization.
Feedback Takes Two: Why Receiving Is As Crucial As Giving
Feedback is a dyadic process (Anseel & Lievens, 2007; Ashford & Cummings, 1983; London & Smither, 2002). Simply put, it takes two. Yet we’ve traditionally focused on developing feedback skills in only leaders and specifically in the area of giving feedback. This misses half the equation. Receiving feedback is also a vital skill. One that encompasses many elements that impact not only the outcome of the feedback conversation at hand, but subsequent feedback exchanges as well. Learn about approaching feedback from a dyadic lens and how it can improve outcomes, connection, and trust, leading to increased organizational effectiveness.
