How to Talk About Loneliness at Work.
Few things are as hard or as necessary to talk about in our workplaces as loneliness and connection. This seminar will show you why talking about loneliness and connection matters to your business and how you can create the social safety that enables organizations to thrive. This is a research and experience based approach that will help your team or organization get better results.
Hope for the Lonely: Ancient Perspectives for Modern Pandemics
Dr Vivek Murthy has coined the term loneliness epidemic to describe the crisis of disconnection so many in our culture are experiencing. Our lack of connection leads to higher stress, higher blood pressure, lower ability to manage relationships, restlessness, depression, anxiety, addictive behaviors and more. This seminar: 1. Examines why loneliness is so hard to talk about. 2. Shows how reconnecting with an ancient origin story can reframe our experience of loneliness. 3. Offers concrete recommendations for individuals and communities to overcome loneliness.
