About
I have achieved huge things in my running career, including winning 5km to 100 mile races
Your Big Goals Aren't Big Enough
Most people have goals and dreams. But are they big enough? I believe that people need to set big, fat, almost unachievable goals in order for them to achieve anything truly brilliant. If everyone else is aiming for the moon, you should be aiming for the stars. In this talk I inspire others to take their goals and dreams and stretch them much further than they'd ever believed they could achieve
Framing Failure in A Positive Way
I'm a failure. And I'm proud of it. If you are doing something which has little chance of failure, then it probably has very little chance of changing the world. Failure should be embraced, celebrated and, most importantly, learnt from in order to improve for next time. I've got multiple examples of failure, including quite public ones. But if I wasn't aiming for those huge dreams, then I wouldn't have achieved things that I have done - Winning 100 mile, 100km, marathons, half-marathons, 10k's and 5k's. As well as completing 4 Ironman triathlons and many more triathlons.
