Time to Get Yourself Off the Ropes
Help maintain your balance. Come discover strategies for speaking with people - even difficult and hypersensitive ones - using assertive techniques rather than defensive ones. Sometimes an offense is intentional, and at other times, it's from a place of ignorance or insufficient attention to a matter. What's more, it is hard to recognize when your own personal history - not the other actor, per se -sets you up for trigger susceptibility, When it appears a co-worker, friend, or organization is particularly critical of your (work) style or your decisions, plan ahead for more empowered responses which mitigate another person's ability to throw you off your game. Any group size. Interactive, Multi-generational segment (optional); limit 30/ session.
